A popular South African radio and club DJ has been murdered in the metropolis of Johannesburg, triggering widespread grief across a country grappling with entrenched crime.
Warrick Stock, popularly known as DJ Warras, was shot and killed in the city centre on the afternoon of Tuesday.
Authorities reported the forty-year-old presenter was accosted by three individuals, with one opened fire on him before running away.
The motive behind the incident has not been established and no suspects have been apprehended have been made, as per the official statement.

Authorities indicated that Stock was targeted as he was departing from a location in the vicinity of the city center landmark.
