The House investigative committee has published a batch of around 70 photos from the estate of former found guilty sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein.

This constitutes the third publication from a tranche of in excess of 95,000 images the panel has acquired from Epstein's estate. It contains pictures of excerpts from the novel Lolita scrawled across a female's body, and obscured photos of women's foreign passports.

This disclosure comes hours before the 19 December deadline for the DOJ to release all files related to its investigation into Epstein.

"These latest photos raise further inquiries about exactly what the Justice Department has in its custody," said the Democratic lead of the committee, Robert Garcia.

A number of the images released on Thursday show Epstein in discussion with scholar and advocate Noam Chomsky inside a private plane; Bill Gates seen alongside a female whose face is redacted; Steve Bannon positioned at a workstation facing Epstein, and previous Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a dinner event.

These are the latest wealthy, prominent figures to be pictured in Epstein estate images disclosed by the committee - previously disclosed pictures also show US President Donald Trump and former president Bill Clinton, as well as director Woody Allen, previous US treasury secretary Larry Summers, counsel Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and additional individuals.

Showing up in the photos is not indication of any wrongdoing, and many of the pictured figures have stated they were not participating in Epstein's criminal activity.

In a press release issued alongside the photo publication, Democratic members on the US House Oversight Committee said the Epstein property holders did not offer background information or timeframes for the pictures.

"Images were chosen to offer the public with clarity into a typical cross-section of the images obtained from the property, and to offer understanding into Epstein's circle and his exceptionally disturbing activities," the statement reads.

The publication also contains multiple photographs of passages from the Vladimir Nabokov novel Lolita penned in dark ink across different parts of a female's body, including her torso, feet, hip, and back. Lolita narrates the tale of a adolescent who was groomed by a middle-aged literature professor.

One excerpt from the book inscribed across a female's chest states, "Lolita: the tip of the tongue taking a trip of three steps down the mouth to land, at three, on the teeth".

The release also contains a number of images of women's passports and official papers from states worldwide, like Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

Most of the details on the papers, such as names and DOBs, is obscured but the House Oversight Committee indicated in a announcement that the travel documents belong to "individuals whom Jeffrey Epstein and his co-conspirators were involved with".

An additional photograph features Epstein sitting at a table in close proximity in the company of three female figures whose features have been censored - a first has her hand on Epstein's upper body under his garment, and a second is leaning to view a close-by device. Epstein appears to be aiding the third fasten a wristband.

An additional photo made public is a screenshot of text messages from an unknown person who states they have been sent "several females" and are requesting "$one thousand dollars for each individual".

Image Publication Arrives Prior to DOJ Deadline

The committee has thousands of photographs in its possession from the Epstein property, which are "both disturbing and ordinary," its statement on recently explained.

The oversight panel first subpoenaed the estate of Epstein, who died in a New York correctional facility in 2019 while pending legal proceedings on allegations of sex trafficking, in August.

The photographs and documents the Epstein estate's representatives provided to the panel are distinct from what is largely termed "the Epstein files". Those are documents under the DOJ's custody associated with its separate investigation into Epstein.

Pursuant to the recently passed law, which Donald Trump signed into law in November, the DOJ has until the date of 19 December to publish its documents. The full nature of what is included in the DOJ's records is unknown, and it's likely that much of the material will be heavily redacted, akin to the committee's releases
